OVERVIEW
Dealing with people is probably the biggest problem you face, especially if you are in business. Research done at the Carnegie Institute of Technology revealed that even in such technical lines as engineering, about 15% of one’s financial success is due to one’s technical knowledge and about 85% is due to skills in Human Engineering i.e. Inter-personal Skills, Communication Skills, Pitching Yourself Skills and Leadership Skills.
One can, for example hire mere technical ability in engineering, accountancy, architecture or any other profession at nominal salaries. But the person who has technical knowledge plus the ability to express ideas, to assume leadership and to arouse enthusiasm among people – that person is headed for higher earning power.
INTER-PERSONAL SKILL
Inter-personal Skill involves Human Engineering which is all about understanding of the basic human nature, psychology and emotional requirements in order to exploit the potential of each employee under you to the fullest in the best interest of your organization.
THE NEED
It is business’s dirty little secret. The work environment for today’s employees, no matter the industry or location, has deteriorated badly in recent years. At the same time workers are being placed under tremendous pressure to produce or sell more in less time and with fewer resources. To a great extent, the problem is an outgrowth of management’s abdication of their longstanding responsibility to provide leadership. Managers must understand that they have a lot at stake in their relationship with their employees. Insightful corporate leaders must recognize that one thing that separates a successful organization from one that is not is its ability to attract, develop, motivate, organize, and retain your human resource.
This is exactly what my workshop will make your Executives capable of.
